Generation USA

Mission: Generation USA transforms education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Vision: The COVID-19 pandemic has destroyed livelihoods at unprecedented scale in the U.S. Furthermore, a parallel pandemic of racial inequity has caused the impact to be felt most by Black, Latinx, and female workers. Generation USA is uniquely positioned to address this enormous need with speed and scale.

Purpose: Generation USA exists to provide Black people, Latinx people, women and other marginalized people groups opportunities to improve their quality of life by equipping them with the training and holistic support that will empower them to obtain a transformative and sustainable career opportunity.

We create impact through supporting unemployed and underemployed individuals, with an emphasis on Black/Latinx/Female individuals, with lifelong skill training and job matching to propel them into sustainable careers. We aim to promote systems change and transform the post-secondary education landscape by working to make the community college system more responsive to changing economic landscape and learner’s needs. We are enhancing credential-based learning with community colleges across the country and tying those credentials to job placement, by partnering with employers to meet demand.
