NY Cat Warriors

Our mission is to assist New York street cats that are abandoned and homeless, often in danger, disabled and/or abused. We provide a temporary home of love and safety while they receive the veterinary care they need. When they are ready we transfer them to a pet adoption agency where they can find a forever home.

In addition to our rescue work, we are dedicated to trap-neuter-return (TNR) to relieve overpopulation and suffering among the City’s feral cats. We assist communities by responding to requests for trapping services and guiding people to facilities such as Bideawee and the ASPCA for low cost spay and neuter procedures. We raise awareness and acceptance of TNR by educating people about the benefits of neutering for both pets and feral colonies. We believe we are fulfilling an important part of our mission by addressing the alarming numbers of un-neutered cats roaming the streets while living grim lives. We advocate for these cats and work with communities to ensure that humans and feral colonies live in harmony and safety.
