Global Kids

GK addresses the inequity youth from underserved communities have in NYC and help them grow into global citizens, empowered to take action on critical issues by providing high-quality programming. This work builds the next generation of leaders by bridging the divide in access to programs promoting critical thinking, global awareness and leadership development. GK youth attend Title 1 schools and reside in communities faced with poverty, crime, lack of professional role models, low-performing and overcrowded schools, unemployment, homelessness and teen parenthood. To address challenges, GK provides free, in-school, after-school and summer programs that support, challenge and enrich their educational experience.
