Habitat for Humanity of Durham Inc

We are in the midst of an affordable housing crisis in Durham, not unlike many growing communities across the country. 20 new residents move to Durham every day.

At Durham Habitat, we currently have 34 board-approved families working on their sweat equity volunteer hours, preparing to purchase their homes soon. We also have more than 2,500 people on an “interest list”, simply hoping to submit an application for our home ownership or home repair programs.

Durham is booming, but not all of our neighbors are benefiting. We believe everyone should have a safe, affordable place to call home.
