Currently, 1 in 54 children are diagnosed with autism nationally. Autism is a lifelong developmental disorder. As the prevalence of autism grows, we are committed to expanding our programs and enabling each person to achieve their goals and dreams. Your gift supports the Autism Society of North Carolina’s programs, which are tailored to the unique needs of individuals with autism. Our programs include Camp Royall, the nation’s largest and oldest camp for people with autism; Autism Resource Specialists, who are often the first people parents talk to after their child is diagnosed; Employment Supports, which help adults with autism find jobs; and programs with one-on-one support to build skills and reach goals.
